Kent has over 25 years of experience as a biostatistician in academia and industry. He supported studies at the University of Washington Clinical Trials Center and investigator-initiated research in the UW Departments of Radiology and Cardiology before joining Axio Research and overseeing all biostatistical and data management operations. Before joining Inference, Kent spent the last 6 years as the Vice President, DMC at Cytel, Inc. Kent has dedicated himself to the theory and practice of Data Monitoring Committee oversight of clinical trials. He has personally served on and supported many DMCs and been responsible for the oversight of hundreds more.
